Meet Henrietta

Henri smiles

Tuesday--August 25, 2020

Henrietta has settled into our Master Bath, where she is comfortably resting most of the day. Of course, she loves running through the house some of the time--she is a Weimaraner. But mostly, she is resting and settled comfortably. With the Great-grandkids coming today, we are happy to have her tucked away where she doesn't have to deal with them. She would be friendly, but this way, if she doesn't seem to want to interact, she can stay safe. Of course, 'Oldies Music' is playing for her. She is a few steps from my workstation.

Yesterday, she went for a walk around the farm. On the way back, she surprised Cliff by taking a dip in the pond. Henri was born in the winter, so, therefore, this was the first time she had visited the Nielsen Farm Pond. We don't swim winter pups for the obvious reasons. Cliff managed to snap a quick photo of her getting out of the water. So, I guess we can label her a natural water Weim.
Note: Henri whelped her first litter on August 28, 2020. Click Here to visit the new litter information page.

Hello!
Henrietta "Henri" is expecting a mixed litter

What do we mean by a 'mixed litter'? We mean that she will produce some Longhairs and some smooth coats (who also carry the Longhair trait). She (Dixie X Boone) has the traditional short (smooth) blue coat--but her mother Dixie is a Gray Longhair--thus she is a Longhair Carrier.

We do have a Waitlist, but what that means remains to be seen. If you are seriously interested in an OwyheeStar Longhair puppy, please click here to email us for additional information. That way, we can get the application process started.
