Sadie was born July 17th, 2010 to a litter whelped at OwyheeStar. Her parents are Dusty and Stormy. She is a lovely blue as well as a carrier of the Longhair DNA marker. When mated to a smooth coat (non-carrier) there would be no Longhairs born; however when she is mated to a Longhair it will results is a few Longhair pups. Statistically speaking, we know from experience the average is 50%; however, at times you may get as few as one or two longhairs in a litter of eight pups. Then  there are those  occasions when six of the eight pups born will be Longhair.
