OwyheeStar's Stackhouse smells the flowers before entering the water. He made Cliff (and Shela) very proud when he netted the NAVHDA Prize II (105 points earned) at six-month-old.
Stackhouse, (AKA Stack) has been nothing short of amazing. From the beginning, Cliff has found him a natural in the field. He is trainable, adaptable, and unruffled!
Very early on, he saw field competition, with the idea of getting his feet wet (pun intended). In his first appearance, at the Spring NAVHDA Natural Ability, he earned a Prize II (105 points). At that time, Stack earned the best score ever for a Weimaraner 9 months or younger. That was an incredible achievement for both Cliff and Stack (considering Stack was only six months old).
Since his NAVHDA debut, he has participated in the VHDF hunt test. He once again did very well, for his age. Cliff and Stack completed his AKC Junior Hunt Title, and (Cliff says) they might attempt an advance Hunt Title (in 2014). Cliff expects to see great things from him as the future unfolds. What he and Cliff can achieve remains to be seen; Stackhouse has already achieved a lot more than many Weimaraners ever do! Cliff plans to continue with VHDF and NAVHDA.
